SUPERSPEED APP SUPPORT
GETTING STARTED
I bought the SuperSpeed sticks. Now what do I do?
What should I do first in the app?
Make sure you create an account and put in your profile what equipment you have. This will give you initial recommendations on which trainings you should do. We recommend taking a speed assessment first, and if you are a premium user you can take your physical assessment to get your customized training plan.
What do I do if I have already trained for a while with SuperSpeed?
Once you select which equipment you own, your "My Training" area will show you the corresponding programs. In your "My Training" area open the dropdown for the program you want to see, then click on the level to manually mark a level complete, until your progress is now at the point that you want to pick up the training.
How much is the premium version of the app?
The premium version of the app is $9.99/month, or you can save 27% with a yearly subscription for $99/year. With premium you get access to all levels of all training categories, access to the physical screen to get your customized training program, more stat tracking and analytics, and direct access to the SuperSpeed team for personalized help during your training.
Is the app available on Android?
Yes! Search for SuperSpeed Golf in the Google Play Store.
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND ACCOUNTS
How do I manage my premium subscription?
Your premium subscription will be managed in either the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store. Navigate to the subscriptions area to change your subscription or cancel. If you purchased your app subscription through the SuperSpeed Golf website, your account will be managed on your SuperSpeed Golf website account.
Can I get a refund on my premium subscription?
If you purchased your subscription on your mobile device through the iOS app store or the Google Play store, all refunds are handled by Apple or Google. Please navigate to your subscription area in the app store on your phone to handle refund requests. SuperSpeed Golf does not have any control over refunds through the app stores.
How do I delete my account?
iOS: You can delete your account in the Profile section of the app by clicking on the gear icon in the top right hand corner, then select "Delete Account".
You can also request that SuperSpeed Golf delete your account for you by going to this page and filling out the form.
TRAINING
How do I start training?
To get started training, make sure you have selected which SuperSpeed equipment you own in your profile. This will allow the app to start making immediate training recommendations based on the equipment you already have. Once you have selected equipment in your profile you will be able to see the associated trainings in the "My Protocols" area. Open the dropdown of the training category you wish to see, then click on the first level to either start a session, or mark the first level complete if you have already completed some of the training and wish to start on a later level.
How do I get my custom training program?
To get your custom training program, you must purchase a premium app subscription, and take the Physical Assessment. This will recommend training protocols specific to your game and add them into your "My Training" section.
Do I need a launch monitor to do the training?
When you start a session, you can choose to toggle off the "collect data" option if you do not have a launch monitor. We highly encourage you to have a launch monitor, and we specifically recommend our PRGR which is easy, accurate, and very affordable compared to other launch monitors on the market. You will need a launch monitor to input data into the app to be able to see your stats and track your gains.
How often should I do a Speed Assessment?
Make sure that you take the initial Speed Assessment as soon as possible once you have created an account in the app. An initial Speed Assessment is crucial for beginning to track your speed gains before you start any training protocols. After the initial speed assessment, the app will remind you after every 10 overspeed and/or counterweight sessions to take another speed assessment, but you can do a speed assessment at any time by going to the training page and clicking on "Assessments".
How often should I do a Physical Assessment?
We recommend taking the Physical Assessment (premium users only), as soon as possible, as that is what will help recommend your custom training program. You can take the Physical Assessment once in the beginning, and we do not require any future physical assessments, but you may take one at any time by going to the training page and clicking on "Assessments".
Which warm up should I do?
We recommend the Dynamic Warm-Up before starting any of our speed training protocols. Warm Up Level 1 and Level 2 are perfect for getting warmed up quickly before playing a round of golf/hitting balls.
Can a family member train with me?
We recommend having separate accounts for each golfer so that the stats remain accurate to one golfer and that the progress tracking through the protocols remains accurate. Multiple people tracking stats/completing sessions in one account will skew data and progress.
STATS
What is Effort Score?
This calculation is weighted average of the speed for the different training clubs in any given session compared to the average of the previous sessions. This stat let's you know if you are training at peak efficiency. If you are getting effort scores below 80%, you might be fatigued and need to take a break from training for that day. We recommend one rest day in between overspeed sessions.
Can I edit my data once a session has been entered?
Once a session has been submitted, you may not edit the data for that session. Make sure that you review all data input in the data review screen at the end of a protocol to check for any errors. If you submit a session that contains an error, you can go to the "My Sessions" area in your profile, and you can swipe to delete a session.
What is a good non-dominant to dominant percentage?
Ideally you should strive to have the non-domiant and dominant side swings be nearly the same. Some of our elite athletes can actually swing faster on the non-dominant side than the dominant side.
How fast should I be swinging each SuperSpeed club relative to my driver?
We tend see see a pattern of about 10-20% faster with the light club, 8-15% faster with the medium club and 3-10% faster with the red club.
Can I share my data with my coach?
Currently we do not support sharing data through the app with a coach. We are working on a coach specific feature coming in the future that will allow coaches to track their students' progress.
