GETTING STARTED
Getting Started
I bought the SuperSpeed sticks. Now what do I do?
Download the SuperSpeed Golf app from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store. Create an account to access all Level 1 trainings for free, or subscribe to premium for access to all training protocols, extra stat tracking, a customized training plan, and more.
What should I do first in the app?
Create an account and add the equipment you own to your profile. This gives you initial recommendations on which trainings to do. We recommend taking a speed assessment first, and premium users can take a physical assessment to get a customized training plan.
What do I do if I have already trained for a while with SuperSpeed?
Once you select the equipment you own, your My Training area shows the corresponding programs. Open the dropdown for a program, then click a level to manually mark levels complete until your progress reaches the point where you want to pick up training.
How much is the premium version of the app?
Premium is $9.99 per month, or save 27% with a yearly subscription at $99 per year. Premium includes all levels of all training categories, the physical screen for a customized program, more stat tracking and analytics, and direct access to the SuperSpeed team.
Is the app available on Android?
Yes. Search for SuperSpeed Golf in the Google Play Store.
SUBSCRIPTIONS & ACCOUNTS
Subscriptions and Accounts
How do I manage my premium subscription?
If you purchased in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, manage or cancel in the subscriptions area of your app store.
If you purchased through the SuperSpeed Golf website, your account is managed on the website. Sign in to manage your subscription.
Can I get a refund on my premium subscription?
If you purchased on your mobile device through the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, all refunds are handled by Apple or Google. Navigate to your subscription area in the app store to handle refund requests. SuperSpeed Golf does not have control over refunds through the app stores.
How do I delete my account?
On iOS, delete your account in the Profile section of the app (gear icon, top right, then Delete Account).
You can also request that SuperSpeed delete your account by filling out the form on our account request page.
TRAINING
Training
How do I start training?
Make sure you have selected the SuperSpeed equipment you own in your profile so the app can make training recommendations. Then open the My Protocols area, open the dropdown for the training category, and click the first level to start a session, or mark it complete if you have already done some training.
How do I get my custom training program?
Purchase a premium app subscription and take the Physical Assessment. This recommends training protocols specific to your game and adds them to your My Training section.
Do I need a launch monitor to do the training?
When you start a session, you can toggle off the collect data option if you do not have a launch monitor. We highly encourage using one and recommend our PRGR, which is easy, accurate, and affordable. You will need a launch monitor to input data and track your gains.
How often should I do a Speed Assessment?
Take the initial Speed Assessment as soon as you create an account, before starting any protocols. After that, the app reminds you every 10 overspeed and/or counterweight sessions, but you can take one any time from the training page under Assessments.
How often should I do a Physical Assessment?
We recommend taking the Physical Assessment (premium only) as soon as possible, since it drives your custom training program. One is enough; future ones are optional and available any time under Assessments.
Which warm up should I do?
We recommend the Dynamic Warm-Up before any speed training protocol. Warm Up Level 1 and Level 2 are perfect for warming up quickly before a round or hitting balls.
Can a family member train with me?
We recommend separate accounts for each golfer so stats and progress stay accurate. Multiple people training in one account will skew the data and progress tracking.
STATS
Stats
What is Effort Score?
A weighted average of your speed across the training clubs in a session compared to your previous sessions. It tells you if you are training at peak efficiency. Scores below 80% may mean you are fatigued and should rest that day. We recommend one rest day between overspeed sessions.
Can I edit my data once a session has been entered?
Once a session is submitted, you cannot edit its data. Review all inputs on the data review screen before submitting. If a submitted session has an error, go to My Sessions in your profile and swipe to delete it.
What is a good non-dominant to dominant percentage?
Ideally your non-dominant and dominant side swings should be nearly the same. Some elite athletes can even swing faster on the non-dominant side.
How fast should I be swinging each SuperSpeed club relative to my driver?
We tend to see about 10 to 20% faster with the light club, 8 to 15% faster with the medium club, and 3 to 10% faster with the heavy (red) club.
Can I share my data with my coach?
Not currently through the app. We are working on a coach feature that will let coaches track their students' progress.
